Tropicana Properties and Tropicana Homes are proud to announce their partnership with Western Tech College to offer full tuition scholarships for high-demand HVAC Refrigeration and Line worker Certifications. This initiative, known as the Tropicana Properties Western Tech Scholarship, is designed to empower residents by providing access to valuable, industry-relevant education.

How to Apply for the Tropicana Western Tech Scholarship

Are you a current resident of Tropicana Properties interested in a career in HVAC & Refrigeration Technology or as a Line worker? The scholarship cycle at Western Tech College could be your opportunity!

Meet the Eligibility Requirements:

1. Must be a current Tropicana Properties resident and listed on a lease agreement.
2. Must start classes within 90 days of receiving the scholarship.
3. Must be proficient in reading and writing in English.
4. Must meet Western Tech‘s admission requirements.

Submit the Required Documents:

1. Complete the scholarship application.
2. Write a minimum 250-word essay explaining why you are pursuing your chosen field, your future goals, and how this education will impact your life and family.

Selection Process:

• Applications will be reviewed by the Tropicana Properties team.
• Selected recipients will be notified once final decisions are made.

 

Please note that the scholarship covers tuition costs only and is paid directly to Western Tech College through the Paso Del Norte Community Foundation. Recipients will be responsible for expenses such as books, tools, and lab fees. Scholarship recipients are also required to provide Tropicana Properties with interviews and program updates during their scholarship period and after graduation and must attend the scholarship award ceremony.
